I wasn't looking for you to do that, but "NicKey Sold Nova" might be a better description. We don't even know that for certain. We know that based on the shipping report that it was delivered there, but could have been dealer traded. Lots of unknowns at this point. Good luck with the search.

I think we are good now, thanks Steve S.

Okay back to business, Stefano you have great contacts can you keep an eye out for any leads?

The Don Clemons lead is pretty credible, he used to work for Flying Tigers and had a Nova, and the work on the car, wiring etc., was done by someone who had a professional background.

Don Clemons
Worked for Flying Tigers
Maybe lived in Desplaines IL

Thanks Nick M for checking with his old buddy who worked there. His buddy said Don had a built Nova.

I think I bought that car probably 8 years ago all I remember is his name was Wally and lived in Elgin. He had bought the car in the mid 80s as a roller. When I did the research on the car I was told there was a partnership one guy owned the car and another guy owned the drivetrain when it was raced. I talked to the guy who owned the drivetrain but I think he told me the guy who owned the car died.

'

Wrong year and color so not the subject car but the Nic>|ey 'powered' Nova advertised in this 03/71 Minneapolis Newspaper ad below is very similarly equipped.
Even though a different car, it's worth noting to help keep info clear w/ any Nic>|ey Nova stories that may surface also could be worth a whirl backtracking in case anyone involved knew of the subject car/owner etc?
