My pleasure Todd! Happy to help and deliver original dated components to a great guy.

Again Gents - friendly bump, stand up buyer.

Whats wrong with the above intake? Its in the date range you asked for and it looks like it has no issues? You won't find a no issues 069 for less than $500 anywhere.

Also Todd, for the level you're trying to achieve here, I suggest having the unit reskinned and checked for cracks before installation anyways. That is standard practice and peace of mind for you!

Hello,
I don't suppose you still happen to have the #069 intake with the 4/28/66 date code?

Thanks, Todd

UPDATE: I got my 069 intake...Thanks Pancho! That was the last part on my list of correct date coded parts I was missing. I'm still looking for a factory black '70 Chevelle SS but if I never find another thing on this site it was still worth the price of admission to find what I needed to finish my Corvette. Thanks to all on here!

Sincerely,
Todd

Who would you recommend I have re-skin my intake? I've also heard of having them put through a tumbler and was wondering which process will have a more "correct" appearance and stay looking nice the longest?

Thanks, Todd
