Default RIP Gary Howard

The industry lost a special one. Customs have always been a hit or miss with me as some are just beyond my taste but I was always a big fan of Gary Howard out of Austin. I loved his style of preserving, but accentuating, the natural beauty of the cars he designed.

I've seen Garys work many times around Austin and on South Congress by Continental Club.

Looking through the pictures, he seems to have been heavily influenced by Socals Larry Watson. That's a good thing. Rip Gary.

Never heard of him before, but that '61 Cadillac is killer looking, and I like the general smooth and low look of his work. May he Rest in Peace.
