Default '62 Impala 409/409 Project, Sitting since 1970

"Supposed to be matching motor" is intriguing but the seller has some pretty dismal feedback to say the least. Buyer beware, although I want to believe the story....

That car is in great shape. Wouldn’t take much labor to get it together.

Air cleaner is obviously 1963 and I can’t see enough in the photos to determine if it’s real but “IF” it is a real ‘09 car, it was an oddball 3-speed car.

I think the steering wheel gives some insight to why the front clip is gone. High horse 409 with a 3 on the tree. Interesting if true.

Good friend still owns the original Robert Chev in Hicksville, his dad that started the dealership still races every now and then. They had a fair amount of HiPo stuff go through there

----Later shifter as well! 62 4-speed would have had a spaghetti shifter. I'm confused about the 3-speed comments. Have I missed something...….Bill S

If you blow up the pic of the steering wheel you can see where the shifter was in the column.

This guy Lou is a flipper, constantly posts wanted ads on Craigslist and then puts whatever he finds on Craigslist and eBay. He has multiple eBay usernames too.

My eyes r not that great, but it looks like both front frame rails are bent towards the drivers side?
