Default '68 Z/28 Project, #s 302, POP

Neat project with a POP from Creamons Chevrolet in Eustis, FL (that also has a stamp from Gates Chevrolet in IN...very weird)

Bidding is already up to $33k - will be watching this one.

My 69 has a 03D tag and engine built on my dad’s birthday. This 68 is a 03C. Engine built on my dad’s birthday. I need to ignore signs like that!!

I just read the ad and the car is in the process of a frame off restoration. Its too bad, the interior looked nice and I might have drove it like it was. So from what I am reading the car is not in the shape the pictures show.
I called this place, north of Orlando, a couple years ago on a 70 Z they had. Between the 70 and a silver 69 Z they had, these guys were not experts on Camaros. I would be cautious buying something after they restored it. I am in Florida and better I stay south of Orlando

Gotcha, I agree, it would have been much more tempting if it were still together.

I just reread the description and was amazed by the endless legal disclaimers included in the ad. And evidently this auction includes completion of the restoration, yet the dealership mentions they don’t own the car. Too weird. Selling a car shouldn’t be this complicated.

Yup, scary way to buy a car. They had it for sale a couple of years ago and it didn't sell.

Talk about a deceptive auction. Not ONE pic of the car apart... if the bidders didn't read ALL the fine print, they may be thinking they are buying the car as in the pics. With the disclaimer wording, it seems it is on consignment and they take no responsibility for any misunderstanding. That is in direct conflict with the pics on THEIR auction page. To me, the car is being grossly misrepresented.

Unbeknownst to me when I bought it, but my '66 Chevelle SS chassis was assembled on my birthday. It's possible the car was entirely built and finished on that day.

When I got the Canadian docs on my '70 Chevelle SS, it was built the day before and shipped on my birthday, which is also the month before I graduated from HS. I consider it my belated HS gift...
