Paul, You have a great eagle eye. I knew that it’s the same car but didn’t think someone would go to that length to scam people but in the world today it doesn’t surprise me. Thanks, Dave.

Great work. I just assumed the BAT buyer was trying for a quick flip but with a no reserve it seemed a bit fishy.
Are you going to preset to the seller the evidence or go straight to ebay? It would be interesting to see how he would explain it away but most likely there would be no reply and the auction would be terminated. It would be best to go to eBay and they could at least take steps to ban his account.

Thanks guys, just doing what we do best here, looking out for each other. Here are some answers to the questions below.

1. As far as the BaT flip, I am not even sure if the car was sold on BaT. But I suspect that the current seller on eBay is the creative weasel here.

2. Not too sure about the eagle eyes, but maybe if you stacked up my contacts I might be 1/2 an eagles eye.....lol.

3. Someone on this site has already reached out to eBay to inform them.

Lets hope they catch the wizard.

Well I'll be...that's one heck of a well executed scam. Too bad for him/her that the car had enough unique attributes to make it obvious that it is/was a 1 of 1....

I wish the FBI internet crime division would bid and buy the car. Then go to his house and show him his new bracelets.
