'70 442 Barn Car
Looks pretty nice...I'm thinking this is more of a SoCal driveway find rather than the claimed 'barn find,' but in any case, cool car.
Is this a standard 442 with the OAI hood option? I see the fresh-air intake on the air cleaner but there isn't much information in the auction description. Neat that it's a bench seat column shifted auto. Link to 1970 Olds 442 auction 344870M167706 |

I don’t recognize that seat upholstery as being original to a 70 442?

The car is not as barn found as they want you to believe . The A/C has been converted to R134a ..

Trim tag shows 48 A for paint. Doesn't that indicate a vinyl top? I am far from an expert on Olds. Car would look sharp with a white vinyl top to compliment the white interior.
Man, I see NO RUST on this car. Is that even possible? Shows interior code of Z947. I can't find squat on Olds interior codes, but the perforated white looks pretty cool, and would actually be a bit cooler than regular vinyl. Be interesting to see where the price goes on this one. I like it; especially below $25k, where it sits right now.
