Default Uniroyal tigerpaw f70-14

I bought this a couple of weeks ago for a friend who's got a 69 Camaro that originally came with tiger paw tires. What are the differences from 69 to 70? Here are some pics.

Guessing, that is probably not a '69 model year tire. It is a later fiberglass belted version that was optional [PL4] as of April 2, 1969.

The standard production bias-ply Tiger Paw had DYNACOR RAYON on the sidewall.

69 and 70 Uniroyal Tiger Paw tires look virtually identical but 69 tires were originally a nylon belted tire and have a different installed diameter than the new for 1970 Fiber Glass belted tires.
69 Tiger Paws are easily identified by the construction nomenclature of Rayon Dynacor on the rear sidewall where the new for 70 tires call out Rayon Dynacor Fiber Glass on the rear sidewall. Most 69 tires I've inspected have a mold marking of 68X and most 70 tires I've seen carry 69J.
The biggest difference in the 2 is again in the circumference height . 69 tires are shorter in height by around an inch over the 70 Fiber Glass belted tires. This makes mixing the 2 styles not a great idea .
William beat me to it....
