Weathered '66 3x2/4-sp GTO, Orig Paint, Roller
Neat car, still looks mean as ever sitting on that trailer.
Looks like it has original headrests, special instrumentation, etc - cool options. Unfortunately, the motor and trans are long gone. Kills me to see that rusty protectoplate. Guessing the docs were rotting in the glove compartment for years and years. Link to 1966 GTO auction 242176B130035 |

WW = Platinum Poly with a Black pinstripe on Black interior, Nice.
This car may also have the RH seat recliner in it with those headrest. If it originally came with those Rally I wheels, it would have Red painted brake drums and possibly Red line tires that would have been a nice touch of color on this GTO. Pontiac’s Data (Body) Plate on this car shows the 3/16’’ stamped round hole indicating shoulder strap provisions. Also the wire with the in-line fuse holder for the tachometer is present. When correctly installed to the negative terminal on the ignition coil that fuse holder is about 6-8 inches from the coil. If only this muscle car still had it’s Original engine and trans.

Looks like it has a tach redline of 5K. Is that correct for a 3x2 GTO?

I wish folks would do some research before spouting crap.
From the ad: "HAVE ALAMABA STATE REGISTRATION AND A BILL OF SALE (THAT'S ALL YOU NEED TO TITLE IN YOUR STATE)." In Georgia if you have an old car and you buy it on a registration and/or a BOS, you can't get a title. To get a title you have to register it WITH a title. If the car does not have a title, and has never been registered in Georgia, it could be titled in a state that will issue a title and then be titled in Georgia. |
