A Cobra coupe that sold for 7.25 is the most that I know of for a 60s era car. A Duesenberg sold for 20M last year at Gooding. As cool as this car is, there is no way it does that.

The highest amount paid for a Post WWII American car at auction is the first AC Cobra which brought $13.75 million (includes fees)

1935 Duesenberg SSJ once owned by Hollywood legend Gary Cooper brought the highest amount paid for any American car at auction last year: $22 million

I remember reading somewhere that Cooper and John Carradine used to race their doosies along Mulholland in the forties.. It breaks the bank IMO. Built by Max Balchowsky, driven by McQueen and Bill Hickman at Cotati raceway, probably the most cloned pony car out there. There is no other star/car combo that gets close, excluding H.B. Halicki and Eleanor naturally.

the Bullitt Mustang will probably need $5M plus to make the top ten for 2019

Will be a test of the McQueen-factor if to top the 250 Goat #, but who's the next McQueen?

"LeMans"-starring 917 values higher than an actual LeMans-winning 917 ...?
