When I was a kid in the 70's, they had the Pittsburgh Carnegie Library Book Mobile visit our school every week and I would get the Hot Rod Show Cars books for a week and I absolutely loved all of those crazy show cars and hot rods from that timeframe. Street machines were my favorite, but seeing those show cars with their insane builds, super wide Cragars, and a blower almost everywhere really got imprinted in my mind.

Tenney,

Awesome YouTube video, Thanks!

I pulled out my vintage ‘66 model today and took a few more photos.

I dealt with a really cool guy, Craig about 20 years ago that was real heavy into the Original 60’s models and the “box art” that Monogram, Revell and others used back then.

Looks like the Original version was this ‘66 PC-134.

Too cool! Some interesting scale stuff on Steve Scott's Facebook, and Beau did a take on Monogram box for his placard at GNRS ...

Default 1962 Thunderbird

Looks like jet engines.

The lines on this car are so cool.

Neat illustration of a Mid-Century Modern architecture with a couple ‘59 Chevrolets.

Hey Honey / Dad, you forgot something.

Yeah! His mind is so wrapped up thinking "I can't wait to get behind the wheel of my Chevrolet" that he forgets everything else!
