Default Anyone here from Galena, OH area?

One of the most important car influences for me growing up was the '68 Camaro of Gary Fravel that was featured in Hot Rod in 1978. That car, to me, was epic.

Saw his obituary from March 2017 and may he rest in peace (sounded like a pretty cool guy: https://www.snyderfuneralhomes.com/o...gary-e-fravel/).

Anyone know what happened to his Camaro?

Default Blown Camero Alive and Well

I am Gary's daughter. Here is a pic of the Camero being moved from my dad's garage this past summer. So happy you remember his car!

Hello. I guess I spoke to your brother previously? Very sorry about the loss of your dad; it's always difficult to lose a parent.

Yes, always loved his car. Was very influential in my young gear head days.
What are your plans for it? Not in the market, was just curious. Thanks for checking in.

I remember that car too. I was in high school at the time the magazine came out. Very cool. As a kid, I always wondered how those two oil filters under the valance would work out in day to day traffic, not to mention curbs when parking.

I’m 2 1/2 hours SW of Galena. I have some connections closer. It is just above Columbus. If I have time, I will try to do whatever you need, Mark. BB.

I'm having some major déjà vu. Didn't you post this same thing in this same thread a couple years ago?

edit: Nope. You didn't. https://www.yenko.net/forum/showthre...=132794&page=2

I am 30 minutes away. I have a friend that is 10 minutes away and he is very knowledgeable with Camaros. He has been building them since 1975.
