This is a fairly typical listing for that eBay seller. Weird photo angles, "fluffed-up" car with no details on numbers. There is a lot of visible issues that need to be corrected, non of which are fatal, but certainly not enough info in the auction to confidently bid.

A straight, rust-free, 340 with original tags and engine is above $150K all day now. The last 340 I sold at the end of 2018 got to $120K on BaT, and I thought that was the end of the universe. At the time, it was.

Seller admits he flipping it and painted the exhaust silver?? That’s a red flag for me.

----If I was planning on driving a mid-year Corvette I would choose the 66 Maroon one that Tony listed for $72,500 over this 63 at way over $100,000. The 66 is a way better, tighter, quieter, nicer ride than any 63 IMHO!.....Bill S

So true! The later style mid year frame is way less clunky, more refined. 4 wheel disc brakes help too.

----63 Corvettes had no rubber cushions between the body and frame, so there were a whole lot more creaks and groans. That was something quickly changed going into 64 production....Bill S

63s are pretty damn harsh. When you have a 340 or fuel car with 4.11s, the NVH is very noticeable at highway speeds compared to the later cars. Any 65-67 on the non-F41 suspension is like a Cadillac by comparison.

I had a 63' back in late 66' ... snagged the love of my life with it ...
