Default Nice #s 340hp '63 SWC Corvette

When I first read the auction description I assumed this was an original paint car, but the seller must be referring to the original color of Daytona Blue. Looks too restored elsewhere to be original paint...but in any case, a super nice car.

----My head is telling me that a 340hp engine in 63 should have a bypass hose from the water pump to the intake, and it ain't there. Can't see the nipple on the intake in the pics supplied, but don't understand!.....Bill S

Hi Bill,

I thought the antenna was straight up vertical on these cars.

Yes / No ?

Looking at the spark plug wires and dipstick make me wonder about the quality of any other work performed on the car.

Correct on all comment! Total lack of detail, plus rattle can silver and orange top and bottom. Good thing it has the idler pulley for when the mis-aligned alternator belt flies off.

Tim, this one would benefit from a month (or more) in your shop!!

There are plenty of details that are wrong on this car. Can they be corrected? Yes. A water pump for one of these is $500, as is the oil pan (it's the wrong one). No pic of the radiator......that's about a $1300 item from Dewitt's.

I don't disagree with a 150k price tag these days.....maybe even more given it's colors and a 340hp.

Of course, we are assuming it has a real engine, trans, diff, as well as all of the other dated components.

----You are correct, Sir! Should be straight. The Chrome bezel at the base indexes into the hole in the fiberglass when correct.....Bill S

I would not be embarrassed to be seen in this car.
