Chuck
The link I inserted takes you to his response to a recent inquiry for straps.

Just curious what these fit.

Look nothing like the riveted ones on my 69 Z/28.

I was wondering the same Lynn. Both of my Novas and Camaro have the riveted type also. I always thought the riveted type were factory installed and the square hole type were replacement leafs.

Eaton spring use the flat straps on the 2nd gen F body, They are very different from the first gen F body spring. I don't have a picture of the straps but a suspension picture may help.

Just like everything, there were also two versions of the spring wrap clip. Some had square punched holes and end tabs and others had round punched holes with rounded end tabs. The spring in the top of the picture has the rounded hole. Ron's photo has the square style. Also, you can see the original style of anti-squeak plastic leaf separator with the solid hollow oval and the aftermarket with the split oval that I am pointing to in the photo.

I was wondering if they were for second gen. The initial post did not specify.

Charlie's old 70 Z should provide good indication of at least one style used in 1970.

Dave, I'm guessing that no one reproduces the "correct" black plastic piece (between spring leaves).....I would be surprised if that was a point deduction in LEGENDS Judging ????
Have you located a vendor that sells the slotted (no original) type ??? Eaton Detroit ???

I have a .stl file for 3D printing the non-slotted type is you are interested.

The slotted type come with the Eaton-Detroit springs. Not sure if they sell them separately or not. I have a few if you are interested. I took apart my new springs and used several of the best of my old ones and printed a few new ones. Surprised a bit that points are not deducted.
