That's a super solid car, that is the perfect project to do because it's so unique. Congratulations and keep us updated on the progress you make.

They are the right buyers for the car. Now if we can find the pic that Brian Hendersen mentioned of a orange Z sitting in front of Dana it might give a clue as to what hood to put on it. I still can't believe how nice the exhaust is. First buyer backed out due to the undisclosed body work needed. I guess I just considered it so minor it was a non issue. Kind of stuff I expect on a 50 year old car.

I can't believe someone backed out because of that easy fix!

Congratulations on the purchase.

The hood in the ad looks flat if it is the same car.

Cool pic. I would be gently sanding right about now looking for traces of that lettering.

I guess I'll have to do some sanding and do a little detective work. The repaint clearly wasn't prepped very well. so hopefully they didn't sand it off.... I'll let you know what we find

Or carefully scrape with a razor. There was no primer between paint jobs so you might be able to uncover a section of the old paint job. Has the stainless on top of the doors etc..Oh boy....

Great picture!!
If this 68Z turns out to be the car in the picture that will be one of the coolest things I've seen.
Good luck!!
