Looks like the trunk has been repainted.

It was pretty obvious, look at the side marker light. Certainly typical spray bomb painting used to prevent rust.

I remember an original paint fathom green 69 L89 which had rust holes in the quarters and if not mistaken the fenders as well...
I am under the assumption that these are two different fathom green L89's, especially after seeing that the ad specifically states that it wears original panels and they haven't been patched.

The trans stamp is hard to see but shouldn't the P9T28 stamp have a "B" at the end for M21?

I've seen stampings like that are close to the raised area cause the letter to be distorted, I bet a better picture might show part of the missing letter.
