Bobby, The wood is the shipping pallet I made to take it to shows. The tires and tubes are NOS and they leak so bad that if I set it on the kick stand it tips over, hence the wood stand. Hers another pic of "wierd stuff".

Yep, the kart is a '65 Bug Sprint with a MC75 engine about 1964.

I had a cart and engine just like that in about 1967. Mine had "scrub" brakes and was a chore to stop. Lucky I'm still alive, I'd run it up and down the streets of Chicago, many times with the men in blue after me.
