Maybe it's the new body style and redesign of the side exhaust. Looks good on a convertible. More like custom versus the prior "track look."

I don't find fault with 67 Mustang owners putting Redlines on their cars. Ford should have offered them as an option. 65 and 66 had the dual band redlines while 68 offered RWL.

Same thing with the 1970 Nova SS. Put RWL tires on them. Chevy should have made them an option at least if not standard like they did with the Chevelle SS. But then Chevy always looked at the Nova SS as their "Bastard Child."
