Also 2 years ago today I found and purchased this car all on a whim and road trip with my dad to go to our cottage to store his old 57 Chevy 210. Was a great road trip with him, my nephew and my son who is now 5!

I vote slots. Incidentally, I have a set of 15x6 chrome slots......

Lol but seriously, I prefer slots on these.

As stated prior I did find some M/T valve covers in great shape. One was spray bomb black so I have been testing on how to polish the fins. I have them now both prepped for paint hopefully I'll get to it tonight.

You have a cool platform to work with! Consider mixing up your wheels which was quite common then. Black steelies out back and slots or Cragars up front. Keystones are very awesome as well. Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!

Jp - congrats on getting the M/T VCs! No taping necessary. Paint 'em black and then attach a sheet of sand paper to a board and lightly sand the tops of the ridges of the fins off. Easy peasy! Looks crisp and right!

Thank you Mockingbird! I found a paint stripping wheel on a drill works very easy on removing paint from the fins. Your car is my motivation for this!
