Default Question about MSD with a sun Tach? Please help

I hope someone can help my friend John here:

Hi Bruce, I have a friend down here doing a frame off resto on a '62 Bel Air bubbletop and he asked me a question. I wondered if you had any buddies there that could possibly answer it. He wants to know if he can use an MSD ready to run distributor with an upgraded Sun Tach and transmitter? I thought it was okay but I'm not sure.

Thank you.

I’m running an MSD 6AL and a 2-step with a Sun tach w/o transmitter if it helps.

Bruce, we run a hidden msd box in our 69 Z with a Sun tach. I don’t know specs of either as it’s been years since I looked at the receipts, but it’s absolutely possible
