Default Tom Dietz

I am very sad to write this down as I don’t have all the info
so,I will keep this updated as soon as I know more.
Tom, was from St. Charles Il.
Drove truck for the last 40 years that I knew him.
But his real passion was, is, and will always be Late Great Chevys 1962-65.
And his memorabilia.
He would alway set-up at the different shows and say
“Joe , take a look at this. I’ll bet you never seen one of these”
Back 15-20 years ago he had a featured centerfold story about him and his
Crazy Low mileage 1965 Chevrolet SS 409 Impala.
If you came to Jefferson or the BOP Swap you would remember him.
I will truly miss him, a friend to all.
Joe Smith

A staple at so many midwest shows for so many decades. We used to say it's not an official show until Tom D. gets here.
What a Great Oracle he was,his Collection may very well be second to none.
I'll miss his inquisitive mind.
R.I.P. Tom

Wow so sad. Tom was such a wonderful person and a wealth of knowledge and judged with our Vintage Certification team. Always positive and willing to help fellow enthusiast. If fact last night I put him on my call list for upcoming MCACN for a 64 Impala survivor.

Thoughts a prayers to his family and friends. RIP my friend..

Tom was a soft-spoken great guy. We used to visit his place when Bloomington was at Pheasant Run. I'm so sorry to hear we lost him. He'd ask, "what year were you born" and pull out all this Chevrolet stuff from that year.
Thank you for letting us know.

----I feel like I knew Tom forever. Such a special guy. This is truly sad for me and every body that ever knew him! I passed on many 409's after he gave me a lowdown.....Bill S

So sad...Tom always joined me at the Morris show and swap in October and was always a HUGE supporter of everything we do at MCACN.

We always had a lot of laughs and in addition to his impressive collection, I feel I also got him hooked on Muscle Bikes. He will certainly be missed.

Sorry to hear of the loss of a fellow ‘09’er but we owe it to him to spell his name correctly.

“Tom Dietz” is the correct spelling.
