Would you be Willing to sell a Walric Plate ?

Default dealer/zone

O'Keefe Chevrolet/Olds-Riverhead is Dealer 71, Zone 27

Also. Looking information on this dealer and on a 1963 corvette delevered there November of 1962, car was raced some point in its life.

Thanks Jack

I can confirm that O’Keefe is dealer 204, zone 27 in 1970-71. I had 2 cars that came from there. One was a Canadian built 1970 Chevelle SS 454. The VVS report listed the dealer zone and code but at the time there was no dealer listed in the database. A few years later I bought a Baltimore built 1971 Chevelle SS 402. I found 2 build sheets inside the seats with the dealer name, address, zone, & code listed. I also had the financing contract with the dealer name & address listed.

If anyone is wondering, prior to it being Bast Chevrolet, it was called Seaford Chevrolet. I used to own another Canadian built 1970 Chevelle SS 454 that was sold there new. The VVS report lists the name & address of the dealer as Seaford Chevrolet, 3660 Sunrise Highway, Seaford, NY 11783. VVS must not have their dealer list updated to reflect the year of the car as it was already Bast in 1970.

Interesting...not sure what to make of it, maybe 2 dealers. This is what I have from the NCRS dealer code database. Thoughts? Jack

It’s definitely the same dealership. My guess is that in 1962, they may have had a different dealer number.

Agree...Looks like the GM gods changed the dealer code for whatever reasons we will never know...Jack

Here's a Kinney thread from 2009. The great feature with this website vs social media platforms is the ability to search. Here's the previous discussion which provides a wealth of information and pics:

I should clarify, it is an actual blue/yellow NY “dealer” plate from DMV used to test drive a car on the street, not a showroom type plate advertising the dealer. It has a sticker on the back.
