A buddy of mine did the body & paint work on this car about 6 or 7 years ago, After hearing supposed story/history of this car i was more than skeptical ! And the Owner at the time was a local guy with a very shady reputation, insurance fraud , receiving stolen property etc… Not sure who Own’s it Now ? I’m far from an expert , but others way more Knowledgeable than I say the car is” Bogus”

Was it even an original big block car?

I can see where folks start to brew up a history for a car, other people start to share that same story and the magazines pick it up too. But that article linked does I think stop short of saying with a degree of authority that it was the real deal.

Wasn't the first Dana 427 Camaro an RS/SS 350 car built up for Ole Bardahl?
