'69 Camaro RS/SS 396 - Buyer Beware
Just FYI, the current seller calls this a 'numbers matching' car but the Mecum description from a 2012 auction calls it a "Date coded 1969 396 block built to 375 HP specs"
I suppose it could have been reunited with the original engine since 2012 but the seller has some splainin to do.... Link to 1969 Camaro auction Link to 2012 Mecum auction results |

I always laugh when I see deluxe seats and standard door panels.

I think it is the vagaries of the whole "numbers matching" term and that the seller may be exploiting that as so many now seem to do. "Born with" seems to be for now a bit more definite, but even that is abused and bastardized.

Those under hood pics are definitely from a Chevelle, probably the red one on the rack.

Agreed, the pics are intertwined with a Chevelle.
