Default Incredible '68 Camaro RS/SS396 Orig Paint Survivor, Loaded with Options

One of the coolest '68s I've seen. Even has the console multiplex system and Vigilite, and retains its factory paint and vinyl top. Must have had some paint work, though, since the decklid 'Camaro' emblem is missing (assuming D80 is original).

Just wondering , is the console compartment still functional with the multiplex or does the lid no longer open ?

I'm the owner of this Camaro. Thanks for the comments. The rally caps are not repops they are GM caps that have been taken apart, cut and put back together shorter. I have the originals as well as mentioned in the auction.

I used to run cut down center caps as well, on my Chevelle.

I always thought the short derby caps would have been a nice offering by Chevrolet ever since I saw an image in the early ‘68 Camaro brochures. The regular “tall” derby caps just kind of visually dominate 14x6 and 15x6” rallys a bit.

yes, i thought the same, tom406. They stuck out past the wheel trim ring which i thought didn't work so well.

I just bought nos caps for my 70 Monte but I agree with you that they stick out to far. I have nos 67 disc brake caps for my Camaro which I think look better.
