Very cool pictures.

I went thru both the Armor School and OCS at Fort Knox during the Vietnam era and later served in both the 1st and 2nd Armored Divisions, Old Ironsides and Hell on Wheels (Pattons Division).

I grew up around guns and hunting, so to get on a tank with the weapons systems it has was a hoot. I acted as a range officer at Fort Hood for a number of National Guard units from both Texas and Oklahoma for tank table and proficiency weapons training. We used to order extra ammo (105 mm, 50 and 30 cal) to do our own "proficiency training" after the NG guys were done.

Tanks are cool.
