Congrats on such a well preserved example. I love it.

Is that a green part number stamp on the back of the disc brake shield?
Yes , the left shield is ink stamped, the right is not. Thanks , it's like 1980 again with the bias ply's on it !!

The second owner bought it for $5,000 in 1996 , third owner bought it 3 years ago for $24,000 . Both lived in Wisconsin. Second owner removed the injection set up. Thanks ! White interior GS cars are coveted .. White tops too..

The car was dealer undercoated . I started removing some of it on any area that was paint daubed or that was bare metal underneath it. Lots of plating like the shift linkage looks really good. That brake shield ink stamp was a surprise find. The fact it was from Colorado has it's good and it's bad points. Plus is metal , chrome and stainless are really nice. Zero rust too. Interior is excellent , original owner must have been really careful at all times. The " bad " is the floors and gas tank have a thick coating on them. I searched for 3 years to find a Survivor GS that I knew would clean up in show shape, this one works. Thank you for the compliments on it.

Those CO UT WY cars are FREEZE DRIED... great for preservation of metal.

Great car Scott. I've always been a fan of the 70 Buicks, and also have a thing for the 72 Grand Prix SJ's. Both beautiful series of cars to me.

Another excellent job on the pictures as well Bruce.

I found a set of factory spiral shocks for the GS , and the non sway bar rear lower control arms will get put back on for the Buick Club of America Nationals in OKC.
