1969 Ply GTX 440
What do you guys think a 69 Ply GTX 440 car is worth?? All in all it is in very good condition for a Mopar. Needs qtr's and outter wheel houses, trunk floor and front floor pans. But cones with a doner car that has good floor though out. Doors open real nice and are clean as are fenders, trunk, and hood. No guts, glass is driver at best. No motor but has trans, do not know if born with and 8 3/4 rear end. I don't know much about Mopars so thought maybe some of you guys would have a better idea.

Re: 1969 Ply GTX 440
Do you have the data plate? That could answer some of your questions. For one thing, the tranny and/or gearing determines the rear end. I'd be willing to bet yours is an automatic with 3.23 or 3.55 gears.
Any idea of the color? |

Re: 1969 Ply GTX 440
Depends on what the fendertag says (like 442 suggests), if it is a track-pac car or 4spd it would most likely have the Dana-60 rear in it from the factory. Based on the condition you are describing I'd pass on it if it's priced over 5k, unless it's a Hemi car, or has some real desireable options... there are some real good mopar deals out there right now - good luck!

Re: 1969 Ply GTX 440
I will have to get the tag info. It is an auto not a 4 spd. They guy is looking to get 3K for it. I did know if at that # that was a good deal or thats the going price right now. Just like first gen plain Camaros 2 years ago they brough BIG money for what they were now you can rollers for ok money. Thanks I think I'll pass on this one.

Re: 1969 Ply GTX 440
Rick, I've got a 68 GTX and wouldn't mind a 69 to go along with it. I'm just west of you. If the car is local and your not interested, would you mind sending me the information on it?
