Default 70 Chevelle SS 396 vert ?

I was contacted by a friend yesterday, concerning a 70 Chevelle SS 396-350HP convertible, he has a chance to buy it and was asking me if I had any idea on what a fair value would be for this car. I told him I would check with you guys here and see what you all think.
His discription is (I have not seen the car myself)
numbers matching, original black bucket int, has had 1 repaint non original color, now red w/ black stripes, was silver/ blk. no rust, auto console, tach dash,P.W. P.L. vigilite monitoring system, am 8-track front and rear speakers, cowl hood, tilt wheel, 60k miles, ss wheels with goodyear wingfoots.Under hood has incorrect hose clamps and battery, but otherwise original.
I was thinking 50-55K, what do you guys think?
Thanks
Bruce

I agree.Around here a car like that brings 30-35K.
Converts sag in the middle in time by Design, and most who own these drive the heck out of them,as they really are Fun to ride in.
Having the original Engine-Trans.-Rearend,& the Buildsheet,P-O-P,etc.are very important with a car like this.Previous owners contact is a plus too.
That color change is so common also.

A guy called into the local radio station here the other day trying to win a bet with his girlfriend he said his aunt passed away and left him a 1970 Chevelle convert with an Ls6 motor and 4 speed and all original, his girlfriend didn't believe it was worth anything and he says it was.I don't know these cars could it be a true car?

Thanks for input , I forgot to ad the car has Air conditioning, cushion grip, map light mirror and washer monitor. How much increase would the air be on a convertible?
