L60s with 8s look killer on 67-8s. 69s too but you usually have to raise it a little with 8s…not so with the other 1st gens.

Someone please post Grady’s red L88 1st gen!

How does SMT's afford to sit on inventory for 2 years?

Likely consignment, so other than floor space, not much cost to dealer.

From the subject listing description…
“Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, operated, and own our entire inventory, no consignments, and only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, that's how we can sell for less than other dealers.”

I would be very wary of anything from that dealer.

check out post #15.

They very rarely sell a car on ebay. Most of the "sold" cars end up relisted. Making a deal off of ebay means the buyer has little or no recourse.

99% of the 3k plus positive feedbacks are from calendar sales.

Years ago, I called to get some info on a car I was interested in. They supposedly owned it, but could not tell me who they bought it from; also could not tell me who did the engine work or who painted it. The paint was obviously very fresh. IIRC, they even represented it as having a recent paint job.

That was my last communication with them.

I usually steer clear of dealers but, given that this was Troy’s car, I wouldn’t have those same concerns on account of the dealer selling it.
