Warthogs from Selfridge A.F.B. fly over our house on the St. Clair river on a regular basis. Love seeing and hearing them!...….Bill S

Theres a bombing range in south central Florida at Avon Park. Friend of mine was fishing near there and could hear a couple warthogs destroying something. He said they flew up over the lake he was on and pretty itimidating. He said the noise of the shooting was something he wouldnt forget! We stay about 10 miles south and the jets must turn over us. You can hear them but never see them. I dont know if they are too high or already gone by the time we hear it but sounds like they are really moving

----Generally speaking Warthogs are low fliers, but maybe after their run they gained height so as to not bother the locals any more than they had to. They are always low around my hood, but are more or less over the river which works for me as I can always see them...…...Bill S
