I hear Mr. Cumby, Mr. McClurg and Mr. Hanson took AWAY better photos. Not sure who's is who's but they are on the SCR facebook page. Since I don't fb maybe someone will link them or post them here or in another thread. Would like to see all the goings on that happened.

Made it home safe and sound from SCR 21.Had a great time visiting with everyone Thursday night. The BBQ was flying and so were the stories!

Friday was a blast. My best pass was a 12.91 @ 108 mph. Benny was a great crew chief and helped me get the starting line procedures down pat. He's a good man! Just as i was getting the hang of the car, the rear end let go! I've seen cars break and the track and now I know the feeling..lol. Oh well, all part of the experience.

Spent Saturday pushing the car around from the trailer to the museum. Thanks for everyone that helped push!

Thanks to Tom, Doug, Jamie, and Cumby for another great event. I'll be back next year with a beefed up rear end!

Jason, let me know if you need any help with that. Tom's Differentials had special heat treated 17-10 gears once. I don't know if they still have them or not. It's been a few years since I got any from them. Looks like it still had the old bronze washers in it. The steel washers are stronger. You are going to need a set of springs and plates too. If you want to take it out and send it to me I can fix it and send it back. Did you inspect the ring & pinion gears?

It belongs to the daughter of the guy who owns the SS convertible next to it. He gave it to her as a surprise 16th birthday gift. It was a 6 cylinder Powerglide car and a few weeks ago they put a 454 with a TH350 in it.
