I watched the video twice & didn’t see a purple 67 Camaro. Maybe it’s on the full length version?

No, still not known which car it was.

The Schmidts sponsorship was announced for the '71 season; the Degnan's ad is dated Sept '70. It's known that Penske DX'd a few of his; Degnan's was not a re-distribution dealer. That makes #44 N618396 FG 4-speed the leading candidate. Someone had its engine years ago; chassis still unknown.
