found my first Z28
Ok, I was not hunting a Z28 but stumbled across this near home in my search for a 67 eldo. Its all original paint with engine on the side, parts scattered everywhere.
The fact that its an RS, got me interested...to not just walk away. curious if the tag looks ok, and did most put headers on them? I am new to Z28s. |

Tag looks good to me. RS car, nice find, worth the time, effort, & $$$, be a caretaker, someone has to "Save It" FWIW

Re: found my first Z28
great find
I assume you bought it? the location of the tailpipes is certainly interesting ... it looks like they would go right under the gas tank

Re: found my first Z28
nope, did not buy it yet. It's pretty buried in the obscure country side, and not going anywhere.
I never got into these, as I always felt there were so many of them. But, as usual, I may be wrong, but thought they made 20K plus of these. It is a flat hood car, wish it had cowl induction. I am going to check deeper into it, may have to take a loan, not tell wife, all that stuff...or just put a deposit on it to hold it for a long time. thanks for all the input! Is a short spoiler correct? |

20,302 that Chevrolet built at the two assembly plants
out of 250k + 69 Camaros total of all flavors unfortunately 90% have been cloned into Z28's over the years REAL ones are always desirable

The tail pipe "look" was evident on many muscle cars back then. TAZ

Correct, short spoiler car would be a 12B car. Many questions and pics I would like to get, if possible. What steering wheel?
