Re: eBay L78
As a California kid from the '60s-'70s I just love the original black license plates. I'm so glad my SoCal-sold '67 RS/SS L35 has them.

Re: eBay L78
Here are some receipts,
How many of you saved the first oil change receipt with only 1528 miles on the clock? Does anyone know what these "Delta Mags" looked like? And finally, receipt for the dent in the left quarter, just two months after purchasing new.

Still in the trailer, waiting to get some projects finished in the shop first.

Re: eBay L78
Just saw this thread....congrats Shaun!! Looking forward to seeing this at Pavillions some time in the future. Cleaned up and made running it would look awesome sitting alongside your 61 Starliner

Re: eBay L78
The original rims were replaced with mags after two months of service so I'm thinking these are the assembly line correct valve stem caps?

Re: eBay L78
Every so often I check this thread for progress reports. I'm hoping only a clean-up and mechanical refurbishing are in the plans.

Re: eBay L78
Just saw this thread and I'm freaking out! I grew up less than 2 blocks away from 6251 Drexel Ave and had a friend that lived across the street from this guy.
I remember riding my bicycle (5 speed sting ray) down the street (pre speed bumps) and seeing that Camaro, what a mind blower! When I starting driving I'd see the car all the time just sitting in the driveway. The original Chevy dealer was smack in the middle of the Beverly Hills business district and is long, long gone, the address of the body shop is a different location on Olympic Blvd and is now a strip mall. Small world. |
