I think they're a little pricey for his budget, but they are killer. I think the blackwalls are gonna look good on his car with the cragars. His first car that he saved a few months back. He's gonna have it a long time and has a lot of things that he wants to do to it. I'll see if he wants to post a photo of it.. Thanks guys for all you input. I really appreciate it and so will he.. In reading what you had set out in post #1, what do you think Cragar's are going to cost him if $286 a tire is spendy?

Just saying but tires are more important than wheels IMHO.

I did see a full set of used Cragar's on Facebook today in CT. They were priced at $1000 for the set of 4.

You can still buy these from John if you are on Facebook? He asking $1000 for 15x8 and 15x6 Cragars c/w 215 and 255 tires. Perfect for your boy's car I would think and close enough to you to arrange pickup in Milford CT

Already has the cragars. Just looked briefly but the firestones look like they would run him $5-600 more for the four tires. Are the radial TA's that bad? Are the firestone that much better than the TA's or are you really just paying for the look? I used them years ago and never had a problem with them. I do like the look of the firestones but I think $300 is a heck of a lot of money to spend on a street tire. Am I wrong?

Just saw the listing. Not a bad deal. Rims and tires look like they're in great shape. Direct fit too. If I needed a set myself, I would buy them.

I run these Cooper tires and feel they are a safer tire than the T/A's and cost less. They changed the font on the white letters and they do look better, but I run blackwall out.
Under $600 for all 4 and free shipping.

Boy that combo looks great on that coupe. They really fit in there nicely. Do you really use that as a trailer car? If so that's great.
