This car was at Mecum last weekend. It was Lot S103 and was bid to $115K but didn't sell. Someone with the car insisted it was an original radio and heater delete car. I told him the heater couldn't be deleted on a 69 Camaro sold in the lower 48 states, but he insisted it came from Norwood as a heater delete car. The car was restored in the 90's when it was owned by Greg Dieterly.

"Hugger Orange COPO Camaros must be going out of style...so many for sale at one time"...... Its like selling your house, then your neighbor puts up a for sale sign to try and grab all the potential buyers that come to see your house ......

I know he never mentions this window sticker in the auction, but it's a Triple A reproduction in case anyone was wondering.

With the usual ECL errors. 9561AA is a 4-speed COPO.

How about this pic? Here's the tag that used to be on it. Which is why the color of the current tag looks funny.

There are letters from Glockner about the car. Not very useful - the letters parrot what the docs say, but make it sound like Glockner had docs on the car.

So what's the verdict on this car. Real COPO car with reproduction Trim Tag and POP or clone? The VIN is listed as a known COPO on several sites.
