Daytona Yellow Yenko Camaro
Hello, My neighbor used to own a Daytona Yellow black stripe Yenko Camaro back in the seventies. Same old story he sold the car, and now he is looking for it. Bob Trez bought the car after it changed hands several times, then sold it to Gary Holoub in the late eighties, he had it restored. The car then went overseas. Does anybody know the where abouts of this Yenko Camaro, vin 578842. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks Mike |

Thanks Guys for all your info, I shared it with my friend and he was happy to see his old car. But he is now bummed because he sold the car for $1200. back in the day instead of keeping it. Here is a photo he wanted me to share with you... driving a Yenko Camaro on the winter roads in Wisconsin!!!

Was that on the south side of Milwaukee?
Looked at it or a twin in Waukesha early '80s. Non-OE engine, repainted with stripes and badges removed. Asking $7000, a ton in those days. Yenko records may be a bit flaky but there were 21 Camaros sold in SE WI. 10 more in Green Bay and Wausau. Common site here back in the day. |

Daytona Yellow Yenko Camaro
The picture was taken in Wisconsin Rapids WI. circa 1971. Frank was second owner, he claims the car came from Clark Motors, who sold Chevys in town. Story goes the Yenko Camaro was dealer traded or bought from Hult Chevrolet in Madison WI. driven by Bobby Clark, dealers son for six months then sold it on their lot.

I talked Bob Trez, and he gave these photos of the same car when he bought it, around 1979.
