Default '68 Olds Cutlass W-31 3-Speed Stick

Neat car but no docs.

Can anyone tell what's clamped to the shifter?

The add doesn't say anything about it having overdrive, but that's the only thing that I can think of that it might be connected to.

Ad says trans is a BW, I believe Olds used the Ford three speed in its applications.

It's a lever with a cable attached to it.

----In many instances Ford used BW 3-speeds. So did GM. Hell,,,I even have a Borg-Warner 3-speed overdrive in my 48 Jeepster. 3-speed overdrives were also used in many Fords and GM's in the 50's and 60's...…..Bill S

its not a BW Ford,,its a ford top loader 3 speed..only 3 speed that would live...GTOs Skylarks Firebirds and Olds used the top loader because of the torque rating...ive drag raced a few,,,they are bullet proof and have a good gear split..pretty hard to beat

..the shifter looks like a Hurst mystery shifter...

did anyone message the seller and ask whats hanging on the shifter?
