Need some help here, a guy wants to sell me this part, and frankly I am not quite sure what to make of this thing.
Thanks in advance. |

That must be the piece that was on Kijiji Ontario a few weeks back, someone here posted a link but when I tried, ad had been deleted and only a tiny picture of the decal still showing. Are these AC Experimental Engineering decals known and what is the year noted? Whoever has it now, have they tried to see how it lines up w/ cowl area etc when in position to suit cross rams? ~ Pete .

It surely looks like some kind of a air intake plenum. But what it's for is a big question.

I just got the remaining photos, and to me this is a no brainer. Yes the Air cleaner is in Canada.
Here is what I think: Crossfire prototype The Tag has been monkeyed with. |

Date on the tag was likely 79 to begin with

Seller wants $2000 USD if anybody is interested. Glad I did not bite.

That is what I had a problem with figuring it out. I was thinking crossfire injection. But the questionable date wasn't helpful.
