Default 67 DANA triple COPO Corvair

67 Marina Blue "triple COPO" DANA Corvair-4 speed. Some of you may have seen this car at Vettefest. It was ordered under a program in conjunction with the Yenko stingers. Yenko had intended to work with DANA as their West Coast sales connection. Ed Cunneen gave me a copy of a news article that references this affiliation with Yenko as well. Included in my Documents is a Letter from Yenko on Yenko Sportscars letterhead, signed by Dona Mae, explaining to DANA how they were ordered with 3 COPO numbers. Yenko Sportscar letter starts off with: "In confirmation of our conversation with Peyton Kramer yesterday with regard to ordering Yenko Stinger-type Corvairs, we have noted your following three order numbers: 02450; 02451; 02452."

DANA Window sticker is as follows:
Marina Blue/Black vinyl interior
M20 4 speed
N44 Special Steering
F41 Special Suspension
9551B (COPO) motor
9981A (COPO)Wheel Cover Delete
9513A (COPO) Rear Positraction 3.89
9570A Air Injector

This is the original DANA window sticker, and also have DANA finance agreement. It is fully restored, needs a couple small items addressed. Technically it is not a Yenko Stinger, but if it were, it would be less rare than the dozens of Stingers. There were only 3 of these ordered, with this as the only surviving example known. Probably one of the rarest collector cars one could own for the least amount of money. Priced at $32,500 OBO.

Whoops, you're right Jeff. I just tried to edit/correct that. It should say "Technically not a Yenko Stinger, but it is more rare than the dozens of stingers that currently exist."

Thanks for the comments, it is a "one-of-a-kind", only one to exist.

I would consider trades of unique special cars; even consider trading up for cars more valuable, where I have to pay the extra cash.

I tried to get Belair to trade me straight across for his "old worn out" black COPO Chevelle, but he wouldn't bite.
