It's actually GTOman who put in a proxy bid. Then every time MC29 tried a higher bid, the computer automatically bid the next increment for GTOman. Once MC29 exceeded GTOman's max bid, he became the high bidder. Notice that GTOman then put in a higher bid, and MC29 snuck up on him again.
Once the bidding is over, and you can see the actual bids, it's easier to understand. But you know two things.... GTOman's tactics are to put in a significantly higher bid, and MC29's tactic is to try to "just" overbid the current high bid. Oh yeah, we know one other thing...both guys want the car!
Ain't ebay fun!!

Since the bid increments are 100.00 that would tell you there are 4 bidders over 109,800 w 4 days to go...that means that either the seller has revealed the reserve and a few bidders are bidding because they know they are safe from reaching it,or it means id like to invite them to a poker game......

Will we now start to see COPO prices in the 110 - 140 range, and YENKO prices in 150 - 180 range???

The 69 Berger COPO's were double COPO's with slogan as "prescribed power by Berger". Berger also had a Hi-Perf catolog and sales department. I understand only 50 Bergers were built, therefore are much more rare than a 69 Yenko Camaro, which was merely a double COPO also. Of course other Dealers sold even less than Berger and Yenko, but weren't as recognized through National advertising and sales programs.

Ha-Ha, I know there's the connection of Yenko fame that is there. But I had to say that Berger had an extra program in the COPO production as well.

Where are you Dennis Barker, here's your chance to get on your soapbox!

Notice the seller dropped the price so that the next bidder meets reserve...Maybe he doesnt want the bidders to keep bidding against each other!
