Cool memories, Bill. That poor thing was barely 4 years old and it was already thru the ringer and DONE. I like the Frost Green/Dk Green deluxe/vinyl top/no spoiler look. Would be a neat combo to see restored.

You got that right, Tom. Bought it from a guy who worked in the body shop at a local Ford dealer. When I had the body & paint work done (by a good friend), he said there was not an undamaged panel on the car. Back then I had a strong dislike for the Lime frost green color, but I like it now. The dark green color I had it painted was a 74 Ford color, with a Cadillac Firemist color pinstripe on the sides.

I sold it in the fall of 75 to a friend, who sold it to another friend that put a 5.38 gear in it and got it down in the 11.70's. With that gear he was running the motor to 8000 rpm....with stock stamped steel rocker arms Needless to say, it didn't last long. He came to me wanting me to build him another motor....I declined. He sold the car to yet another friend, who had a chassis put under it and painted it maroon....still with the green headliner inside He sold it to someone in Wisconsin around 1980 and I've never seen or heard of it since.
