Sunderland Chevrolet, Lemoyne, PA
I found this Sunderland emblem last weekend on a 70 Chevelle, hopefully I can get it off without breaking it. If somone needs this for their car, let me know.

Re: Sunderland Chevrolet, Lemoyne, PA
I'll take it! I have one as well, but it broke, and is currently with a buddy who is going to try to recast it.
They were indeed Sausman before Sunderland - didn't know they became Forbes. The owner now owns Sun Mercedes, Audi, etc in Camp Hill and Mechanicsburg I believe.

Re: Sunderland Chevrolet, Lemoyne, PA
Thanks for procuring that emblem - great price too! It will clean up well, and will look great on the decklid of Benjamin's Nova.

Re: Sunderland Chevrolet, Lemoyne, PA
Glad I could help out. I remember being at Sunderland's lot in 1970 and seeing several BB Nova's, one in particular, a red black vinyl top L78 that I wanted to buy but my insurance company would not insure me, I was 17, so I ended up with a regular old Nova 350 w/auto., here is the original paperwork.

Re: Sunderland Chevrolet, Lemoyne, PA
Sam, The Nova did not have a vinyl top. I did not have it long, but it stayed in the family, I sold it to my father. I replaced it with this 67 Chevelle SS in 72.

Re: Sunderland Chevrolet, Lemoyne, PA
Nice! Never saw a bill of sale from Sunderland. You didn't happen to see a '69 Rally Green SS396 Nova on their lot did you? Ours was actually repo'd in early '70 and ended up back with Sunderland. It appears to eventually have gone through Manheim and landed in Maryland till I bought it in late 2002.
BTW, the emblem cleaned up real nice!

Re: Sunderland Chevrolet, Lemoyne, PA
That's a cool emblem. Is it on a car in a junkyard? I actually know a salesman who worked at Sausman and I believe Sunderland as well. He did so well as a salesman that he won a 58 Impala convertible during the 58 model year.
