For every action there is an opposite reaction. The upside of the Green New Deal, and the end of fossil fuels appears to be a solid spike in collector car prices.

Lumber has been expensive for at least 6 months due to back to back to back hurricanes as well as a horrible tornado season that ran thru Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio and the south. Not to mention that a low interest rate and many young families are eager to build their first home .. with rates as low as 2.5% Some construction materials are already on allocation .
But of course this was all Mr. T ‘s fault. (Lol)

It seems to follow on the heels of a construction BOOM, during a pandemic. I never thought that could happen with so many people "out of work" but it certainly did. WHERE the hell is all the money coming from, if the government needs to keep sending out "relief" checks. Now Biden wants another round totalling over 1 trillion dollars of borrowed money ???

I can't imagine a future when all, or most cars on the road are electric...smart cities, Agenda 2030. I need a time machine so I can go back to the fun decades.

I couldn't agree more. I was just telling my Wife this the other day. What we hear is one thing but what I see with my own eyes is another. It sure appears the economy ain't hurting. Like Doug said about building supplies, new home sales and I see stores sure are crowded. People are definitely out spending money. Look at gun and ammo sales. That is off the hook right now and that stuff is not cheap. Plus it seems nobody is working. I've never seen so many people out and about during weekdays. So what is happening? Doesn't appear to be too bad or as bad as you hear.
