Default Dry Ice blasting

Doing 2 cars at Level One Restoration.. Gary has basically set up a paint booth to do it in as it makes a lot of dust. First car up is a Chevy Luv with 75 miles on it. These are before and after. He will go back with a detail nozzle later.

The mess is probably one of my biggest reservations from jumping in. The results are spectacular Charlie!

Chevy Luv? Where did you find a Luv with 75 miles?

In a garage that the owner parked it in after discovering they didn't like it.

For the dry ice, you could buy one of these to contain the mess, but then, how do you clean the capsule ??

Charley, you told me about this type of cleaning about a month ago and now I see exactly what you’re talking about. Wow.

I Google searched the Luv and found it was sold years ago by Dennis Collins(Gas Monkey) partner at auction. I think he did the undercoating then to cover up any uglyness. Who undercoats a aluminum transmission ? My understanding is a guy in New Mexico bought it new but died after driving it only 65 miles. The family kept it until Collins bought.

Love the Luv's... My father did a 400 sbc swap in a 4wd one back in the 80's. Pulled the front axle out and left the spindles, 350tb, 9" from a 60 something Ford. That thing would absolutely fly.. Nice work on this one.

Gary was waiting on more ice. Should finish the Luv today and then start on my Camaro. Looks like he is doing the Luv not in a booth. You can see the crud on the floor.
