Default M/T 63 1/2 Galaxie lightweight FE 427 Hemi

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xtY7OMT49CE

932 mile time capsule.

I would have loved to of had a chance of running across this beast.

I bet tjs44 has seen a lot of M/T Hemi stuff floating around 20 plus years ago.

I went to Mickey Thompson's garage sale at his old shop. I think this was the late '70s or early '80s. Lots of Hemi Ford and Hemi Pontiac stuff for sale on top of his old Indy cars from the early '60s, etc. and if you bought something Mickey was the guy you paid. Scary neighborhood by that time but really cool day going there and seeing all that stuff. Only thing we could afford was a Hurst shifter handle for my friend's '69 Z. LOL

There was also a ThunderBolt with a MT hemi.It was actually at Jess Tyrees shop where my 63 421 Lemans raced out of it.He was the driver of the TBolt.I spent a lot of time at the M/T back door.Bought a lot of stuff from Fritz Voight. The Ford hemi was a PITA as it used 3 pc push rods and had tons of valve train issue.Tom

I can just imagine the guys that engineered the Chrysler Hemi laughing their asses off at the absurdity of 3 piece pushrods
