1973 Trans Am "Mc Q"
Seattle 1973... Director removed the decals, the car rolls on Firestone Wide ovals...kind of cool retro look at this era.

Watching Big John Wayne climb into thr Firebird, they could have used a bigger car.
Engine sounds sound like they were dubbed from Bullitt.

They were, actually.
At least one of the cars still exists. They were standard 455 4bbl engines (not Super Duty cars) |

I'm told that one of the cars in in TN, owned by a Pontiac collector. It's in very bad condition.

Funny, it was in French. Maybe a Monte Carlo or Grand Prix would have fit John Wayne a little better.

John Wayne drove modified Pontiac Station Wagons. Wonder if he has a deal with Pontic and chose the Firebird for the Movie.
