Default Smog Pump Bearing

I am restoring the AIR pump for my 1970 L78 Camaro and would like to replace the rear roller bearing, but cannot clearly ID the existing bearing to find a replacement. Very difficult to read clearly due to corrosion, but it appears to be an NDH bearing with possibly PN 3248-G??? Does anyone have a cross to this bearing?

Bearing Service Co. a local bearing suppler, has bearings for '67 smog pumps in stock. Guessing you would have a similar bearing suppler to compare yours - Bill W

Lifted from Lloyds Build.
There are 2 bearings in the smog pump, a needle bearing, style B248 1 1/2" ID x 1 7/8" OD x 1/2" width that is pressed into the access hole in the internal drum and another at the top (pulley end) of the main case, a sealed 6203LLBC3/EM radial ball bearing, 17 mm bore ID, 40 mm OD, 12 mm width.

If you get stuck, let me know. I have a client that rebuilt many many smog pumps through the 70, 80's and I'm sure he could track that bearing down (or one that will work correctly)

Thanks again guys...the members on this site are awesome. Found a suitable rear bearing and should be here in a few days. I've de-vaned 2 or 3 of these pumps in the past, always replaced the front sealed bearing, but was always able to clean and re-use the large rear bearing...not so with my L78 pump, so this is new territory.

BTW, regardless of mfgr, the B248 style bearing is only rated for 4300 rpm if grease is used as the lubricant...seems kinda low but then again, I haven't compared the pump pulley to the crank pulley...yet.

Thanks again!
